MCP Server

The FanID documentation includes a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Any MCP-compatible AI tool can connect to the documentation and use it as a knowledge source.

How it works

When connected to an AI assistant, the MCP server provides two tools:

list-pages

Lists all documentation pages with their titles, paths, and descriptions. AI assistants call this first to discover available content.

get-page

Retrieves the full markdown content of a specific documentation page.

The LLM can proactively search the documentation while generating responses — it decides when to use the tools based on conversation context.

What AI assistants can do

Once connected, the AI assistant can:

• Answer questions about the FanID WebSDK configuration and API
• Provide correct code examples for gated content integration
• Help with CSS custom property overrides for styling
• Guide framework-specific setup (React, Vue, Angular, WordPress)
• Explain ad-blocker resistance and SEO behavior
• Troubleshoot CSP and cross-domain configuration
